Online Irish language classes
Drawing on a wealth of experience in post-primary and third level education, we are proud to introduce Fréamh, our online Irish language initiative for adults, rooted in the rich linguistic soil of the Connemara Gaeltacht. At Fréamh, we offer weekly online classes that embrace a student-centred approach, focusing on the vibrancy of spoken Irish. Our course material is bespoke, tailored specifically to the collective needs of each learner. With Fréamh’s meticulously crafted lessons, we aim to instil a deep-seated confidence in our learners and support them on their journey to Irish language proficiency from the heart of the Gaeltacht.

What participants are saying about Fréamh classes
“I love Cormac’s Irish language classes because he always makes them informative while at the same time engaging and fun. He also uses creative activities that focus on listening and speaking Irish. Ná bí buartha! Don’t be worried! What ever your level you’ll leave with more Irish than when you started.”
Mary “Cáit” Daly, Minnesota
“Cormac’s way of teaching Gaeilge is resolutely anchored in the 21st century. With an approach that combines games, challenges and media with more traditional exercises, Cormac makes sure Gaeilge is part of the learning experience and not just abstract theoretical notions that you learn on paper. I really enjoyed his class, which has made wonders for my pronunciation. I really feel like I’ve got a functional grasp of Gaeilge with Cormac’s teaching. Go raibh míle maith agat!”
Olivier O’Connell, Montreal
“Chríochnaigh mé sraith ranganna Gaeilge ar líne le Cormac le déanaí. Thosaigh mé mar Ghaeilgeoir díograiseach ach gan dóchas. Bhí na ranganna deartha go cúramach, éifeachtach agus an-spraoi. Éiríonn le Cormac an teicneolaíocht, eolas domhain ar an teanga agus scileanna iontacha teagaisc a chur le chéile, iad ar fad le meangadh gáire!”
George Shorten, Corcaigh
